I have weird green pixels dispersed on my screen along with slower computer speed. I don’t think thy’re dead pixels b/c dead pixels are black and doesn’t affect performance. I ran my virus scan but couldn’t detect anything. Please help.( I have a compaq presario 2580us.)

I just recently finished cleaning off my monitor with a dry cotton cloth and procreeded to move it into a different position on my desk. Apparantly this has somehow caused my computer screen to have a slight green tint in one corner which is mostly prevalant when the background/website is dark, Is there any way to fix this and how would that be done? thanx.
